Being Born Again

I want to offer you some practical advice on what to do with The Message of Christianity podcast I recorded in order to "do the work of an evangelist..."(2 Timothy 4:5 ESV)

The audio presentation was designed to nurture the kind of faith mentioned in
Hebrews 11:6 and Romans 10:17.

So if you are hoping to find merit at a Roman Catholic Church, or theosis at an Orthodox Church, or justification and sanctification at a Protestant Church, or the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at a Pentecostal Church, or getting saved at a Baptist Church, The Message of Christianity Podcast is here to help you understand how to take the first step in God's direction correctly. With that goal in mind, I have 3 pieces of practical advice to share with you on how to get there.

First, make a commitment to listen to "The Message of Christianity" Podcast 30 times.

The faith spoken of in Hebrews 11:6 and Romans 10:17 will come only as a result of listening to the story of who we are and what Jesus Christ accomplished for us. So the first thing I recommend for anyone in need of "faith" is listening to the Message of Christianity podcast once a day for 30 days.

Second, make a commitment to share "The Message of Christianity" Podcast with others.

If you want to help others obtain faith then all you have to do is invite them to listen to this as well. I wrote this Gospel presentation to help deal with people who are being influenced by the "self esteem" philosophy that is spreading everywhere in American schools, with American technology and American style entertainment obtain the kind of faith required of us in Hebrews 11:6 and Romans 10:17.

Third, make a commitment to only ask people to listen to "The Message of Christianity" Podcast.

Becoming a Christian is a result of something God does in a person's life. Telling people to invite Jesus into their hearts, to pray a prayer, or make Jesus their Lord and Savior only confuses the issue by giving someone permission to call themselves a Christian without God taking action to reorganize everything in their hearts.

We need to stop leaving God out of the work of evangelism. When God takes action to make someone a Christian, that person will become a different person, according to what the Bible says in John 3:6 and 2 Corinthians 5:17. This is the best way to do evangelism work.

This change of heart God causes is something that cannot take place in a person's life without that person, and everyone around them noticing something has changed the moment it happens, even if the person involved does not know enough about God and God's methods to explain in detail what has happened.

We need to stop saying that a person is a Christian because they prayed a prayer, invited Jesus into their heart, or made him their Lord and Savior, or have been baptized. We can guide people to do all that without God causing them to be born again (John 3:6) and become a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17); which means we have left God out of the process of adding new members to our local churches.

Please help me change that.
